Achievement First Amistad Academy High School is named top high school in Connecticut.

On Tuesday April 26th, US News & World Report released the 2017 list of the top 100 public high schools in the country. New Haven’s own Achievement First Amistad Academy High School was rated the top high school in the state of Connecticut and 20th in the nation. This is no small feat and is a true validator of the potential of all children when given quality education.

The US News report uses measures including participation in Advanced Placement exams, graduation rate, and college readiness to access the quality and performance of a public high school.
